Text Message Terms

Last updated: October 2026

These terms explain how Terms Deal Academy ("we", "us") uses text messages (SMS and MMS), and what you agree to when you opt in.

Who sends the messages

Two kinds of texts exist on our platform:

  1. Texts from us to our members and applicants, such as account and security notices, training reminders, support replies and service updates.
  2. Texts that Agents send to their own contacts using the SMS Messages tab. The Agent is the sender and is responsible for having consent and following the law. We provide the tool only.

How you opt in

You opt in to texts from us when you enter your mobile number on a sign-up, checkout, onboarding or support form and check the box that says you agree to receive texts from Terms Deal Academy. Consent is not a condition of buying anything. You can use the platform without agreeing to texts.

The consent checkbox reads: "I agree to receive text messages from Terms Deal Academy about my account, training and support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See Text Message Terms and Privacy Policy."

What we send and how often

Message frequency varies. Most members receive a few messages a month.

Costs

We do not charge for texts. Your carrier's message and data rates may apply.

How to stop and get help

Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will get one confirmation, and then no more texts from that number. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at [email protected] or (888) 272-0260. If you opt out and later want to rejoin, reply START or update your preference in Agent Office.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We do not sell or share your mobile number or opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. We share it only with service providers that help us deliver messages (for example, our messaging platform), and as required by law. See our Privacy Policy.

Agents who send texts

If you use the SMS Messages tab, you agree to:

We may suspend messaging access for violations. These rules follow the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. 227, and the FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule, 16 CFR part 310. Some states add their own requirements.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
